From Calgary, Canada, Dr. Cundal has over 20 years of experience and specializes in the treatment of degenerative conditions of the lumbar spine, hip and knee arthroplasty.
Dr. Cundal received his Medical degree from the University of Alberta in 1993. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic at the University of Alberta, and then obtained fellowship training in adult and pediatric spine surgery at the Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic in Denver, Colorado.
Upon returning to Canada, Dr. Cundal established an orthopaedic surgery practice and became the chief of surgery at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He relocated to Calgary in 2003 and joined the University of Calgary Orthopedic Surgery Division as a Clinical Lecturer. Currently, Dr. Cundal practices at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, and is the Site Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Cundal focuses on the treatment of degenerative spine conditions such as anterior lumbar fusion, decompression and laminectomy, fusion surgery for spondylolisthesis, lumbar disc replacement, microdiscectomy, oblique lumbar interbody fusion, cryodenervation, nerve ablation therapy, lumbar facet and musculoskeletal injections, nerve root blocks, along with hip and knee arthroplasty surgeries.
