Joint Replacement Surgery

Cayman Orthopaedic Group offers innovative Hip Arthroscopy diagnosis and treatments delivered by our team of qualified orthopaedic surgeons in the Cayman Islands.

What is Hip Arthroscopy?

Hip arthroscopy is the observation of the interior of the acetabulofemoral (hip) joint through an arthroscope, to diagnose and treat hip problems inside and outside the joint.

During this minimally invasive technique, your surgeon inserts a small camera, the arthroscope, into a small incision in your hip joint to view the interior of the joint on a screen, and then uses these images to guide miniature surgical instruments.

The small incisions used in the procedure has been shown to result in shorter overall recovery times when compared with conventional surgical techniques.
